Artist Statement
"In my work, I intend to highlight the beauty and emotional significance of everyday objects that often go unnoticed, but when seen in a painting, every shape and detail transport us to an intangible dimension, creating a mélange of deep sensations.
On this occasion, I get my inspiration from our childhood objects, artifacts that, when seen through lines and colors, are capable of awakening our emotions and taking us to cherished moments from the past, letting us appreciate them in a new way, not just for their functionality but also for the feelings they evoke." - Karina RodrĂguez
