Artist Statement +
In The Tender Vigil, time slows to a listening hush. These paintings gather around moments of quiet guardianship, where porcelain light, lace, feathers, and winter air cradle the inward life of the feminine spirit. Each figure lingers between breath and becoming, holding the world gently rather than mastering it. Their stillness is not absence, but care; not silence, but attention. Together, the works form a sanctuary of watchful tenderness, inviting the viewer to enter a space where beauty keeps vigil over what is fragile, sacred, and quietly enduring.
