Abend Gallery presents the eighth edition of Animalia, a group exhibition exploring the endless ways animals occupy our lives, our imaginations, and our attention. From faithful companions to creatures glimpsed only at a distance, animals pull something out of us: tenderness, curiosity, humor, reverence, concern. The artists in this exhibition respond to that pull through portraiture, narrative, atmosphere, and invention, each bringing their own perspective to subjects that never stop demanding to be seen.
